Erin Pyle joined the firm in 2018 as the assistant to John R. Howland and Dennis R. Meakim working mostly on estate planning, zoning, real estate and family law matters. Since then, she has also acted as the assistant to Bruce D. Hess and at times as the firm’s receptionist. In 2021, she became the assistant to the managing partner, David W. Birnbaum, which fostered a transition into personal injury and litigation matters. During this time, she also assisted with the firm’s billing. In late 2023, she became the firm’s Bookkeeper.
Erin joined her first law firm in 2007 specializing in mortgage foreclosures. From there she dabbled in estate planning and administration for about 2 years before heading back into mortgage foreclosures in 2013. After about 5 years, she realized that she enjoys working more closely with clients and assisting with a variety of different matters and that led her to her current position with the firm.
Erin graduated from Alvernia University (formerly Alvernia College) in 2008. She went on to earn a Paralegal Certificate with a Specialty Certificate in Intellectual Property in 2009 and in 2014 she passed the Paralegal Core Competency Exam.
Outside of the office, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, Bob, who she met in high school, and their dog, Penny as well as with her family and friends.
