Bruce Hess

Since 1976, Bruce D. Hess has concentrated his practice in the area of personal injury. He handles all types of injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall, catastrophic injury and wrongful death. Bruce has successfully defended various self-insured entities in lawsuits throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley.  He is a trial lawyer who is also skilled in negotiating settlements. Additionally, Bruce has extensive experience in estate planning and administration.

Son of Robert Hess, Bruce too has given much time to the community. He was chairman of the Board of Pilgrim Gardens (now Wesley Enhanced Living Burholme), a retirement facility, and also served other retirement facilities as chairman of the Board of Directors of Heritage Towers (now Wesley Enhanced Living Doylestown) and on the Board of Directors of Evangelical Manor (now Wesley Enhanced Living Pennypack Park). Bruce previously served as a Director of Frankford Hospital (now Aria) and other health care organizations. Currently, Bruce is on the Board of Directors of the Aria Foundation, a foundation serving retirement facilities, and counsels several retirement facilities. He advises various physicians and other health care professionals. Dedicated to the environment, Bruce is past director of the Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust (formerly Pennypack Watershed Association), which works to restore and preserve forests and wetlands. He also served his local community where he resides, on the Board of Directors of Heacock Meadows Condominium Association. Bruce is presently a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

He is a graduate of Ursinus College and Temple University Law School. He has three children.
