After graduating as valedictorian of his high school class Scott attended the University of Iowa, where he received his Bachelors Degree (with Honors) and a Masters Degrees in Sociology.
Scott then attended the George Washington University Law Center in Washington, DC, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. While at George Washington Scott participated in the Government Contracting Moot Court Competition, interned with the Army JAG Procurement Fraud Division and with the Office of the Chief Attorney for the Department of the Army and enrolled in several of the advanced LLM-level Government Contracts and Procurement courses.
After graduating from law school Scott took his interest and expertise in construction contracts into private practice. Over the years Scott has represented contractors, subcontractors, owners, sureties, design professionals and insurance companies in matters before state and federal courts. He has also represented clients before mediators, arbitrators and administrative agencies.
Scott is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts in the Commonwealths of Pennsylvania and Virginia, the States of Maryland and New Jersey and in the District of Columbia. |
