Joseph W. Winning is the most recent addition to the team of attorneys at Howland, Hess, Guinan, Torpey, Cassidy & O’Connell, LLP.
Joseph attended La Salle College High School in Montgomery County, PA, graduating in 2005 as the high school’s salutatorian. In 2009, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Delaware in Newark, DE.
After three years working in sales and marketing, Joseph attended the Widener University School of Law (now referred to as the Delaware Law School). Joseph earned Dean’s List awards in each of his six semesters at Widener. He also graded on to the Widener Journal of Law,
Economics and Race, where he researched and wrote for four semesters during his second and third year of law school. Additionally, Joseph served as a legal intern for three semesters at the Delaware Office of Disciplinary Counsel. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and finished second overall in his class of 108 students.
Outside the law, volunteering plays a major role in Joseph’s life. He has previously served on the La Salle High School Alumni Board. Currently, Joseph serves as a basketball and baseball coach at Ancillae-Assumpta Academy in Wyncote, PA. In addition, he serves as a referee for the school’s winter intramural basketball program. Joe previously served as an assistant coach for the freshman baseball team at La Salle College High School.
Joseph enjoys spending time with his family, and his hobbies include running, coaching youth athletics, and attending high school and college basketball games in the city of Philadelphia.
Joseph is a native of Abington Township and resides in Glenside with his wife, Laura.
